Our client is a rapidly growing and major airline in Bangladesh and due to their growth plans and fast developing network, they now require a Director of Engineering.

As Director of Engineering, you will provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure the availability of safe and airworthy aircraft for our client’s services. This will be provided at optimum cost and productivity levels, in compliance with all aircraft maintenance regulatory requirements.
You will also be required to provide a high quality service to enhance our client’s profitably and work towards setting European standards of compliance within the organisation.

All candidates must have the following experience:

- An aircraft maintenance engineers license and multi-category aircraft type approvals
- At least 15 years experience (10 of which should be at managerial level in a medium size airline.)
- Familiarity with Boeing 767-300ERs and MD-80s essential.
- Experience of a multi-type fleet environment and should be able to implement rigorous systems.

All candidates must meet the following specifications:

- Have a deep understanding of the airline industry and a comprehensive knowledge of the techno-commercial issues.
- Be strategically minded with demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills and ability to develop and implement effective responses to technical issues
- Possess a thorough knowledge of Engineering & Maintenance procedures and of civil aviation regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate proven negotiation skills to handle key account high value technical contracts .
- Demonstrated ability to deal with leasing companies (e.g. inspections, delivery, re-delivery) and must be able to reduce engineering costs through better planning.

BENEFITS:
Gross Annual Income will be circa $100,000 (Net approx $75,000)
Furnished Accommodation and Ground Transportation will also be provided.
